Nature needs your support! Sign up for a tree planting or environmental restoration event near you to get your hands in the dirt and make a real impact for your local environment. We work with our local partners to offer many volunteer opportunities throughout the year, but especially during the spring and fall.
Event locations and activities are dependent upon the unique needs of the local environment, and might take place in neighborhood parks, along streets and parkways, or within nature reserves. Activities could include anything from planting trees to removing invasive species, cleaning up trash, restoring shorelines and wetlands, planting shrubs, supporting pollinators, planting urban gardens, working in nurseries, maintaining trails, and more. We look forward to getting our hands in the dirt with you!
One Tree Planted invites you to get your hands in the dirt from September 19th to October 31st with our Plant a Tree Day events. From fruit trees to fir trees, urban forests to the backwoods off the beaten trail, you can make a difference where you are.
